Perhaps you’ve given up hope of ever finding anything in your chaotic basement. And just thinking about tackling these jobs by yourself gives you major stress and concern. Well you’ve come to the right place!
We are trained and experienced hands-on organizers. Our highly talented organizers are ready, willing and able to tackle any size job, from routine to extreme, including garage organization, and hoarding assignments! In fact, the tougher the clutter challenge, the more excited we get when we see it disappear! We don't just organize it, we can also haul your unwanted items be they donation or trash away for you.

Professional Organizers develop customized solutions to help individuals and businesses regain control of their environments, time and lives.
What types of services do Professional Organizers offer?
Professional Organizers offer a variety of services for both individuals and businesses. Business services may include: developing paper management and workflow systems, office space planning, and electronic records management. Residential services may include: developing activity systems, clearing clutter, designing effective methods for storing personal items, and transitional services for merging two households or to facilitate downsizing.

PRICING....$60 per hour for our lead organizer and $50 per hour for each additional organizer.
Initial Complimentary Phone Call:
During this call you'll respond to questions that will help us assess the needs of your project and to define how to best serve you. We'll discuss the areas to be organized and what the goals are. It is also a chance for you to get to know us and ask whatever questions you might have concerning GreenThumb Cleaning & Organizing!!
Hands-On Organizing:
A GreenThumb organizer will physically help you with your decluttering and organization, whether it is working side by side with you or independently. Working as a team with us will help make the experience of getting organized more enjoyable. GreenThumb's approach is based in sensitivity to your needs, discretion to maintain your privacy and respect for your possessions. Your outcome will be an organized and clutter free space. You'll receive guidance and motivation until your project is complete.
There is a Four hour minimum for hands-on appointments, so that we’ll have enough time to really get a project started/completed.
Maintenance:
GreenThumb offers a maintenance program especially for clients who want someone else to keep up with their organizing projects. We have a special rate for maintenance which is less than our normal fee
Supply Shopping:
Purchasing containers and other organizing supplies is the last step of the organizing process. Before purchasing supplies, we must first determine which items are most important to you, which you need easiest access to, and what can go. Once we've sorted and purged, we'll assign a space for each item. This is the point at which supplies or shelving should be purchased. We can either leave you with a supply shopping list or we're happy to do the shopping for you at our hourly rate.
Policies & Information:
Cancellation Policy - GreenThumb organizers are in high demand and we schedule their appointments a week or more in advance. Because of the irreplaceable time that is lost if there is a cancellation without adequate notice, in the event of failure to give at least 48 hours notice to reschedule an appointment or if you are not present when we arrive, there is a rescheduling/cancellation fee equal to two hours of organizing at our hourly rate
Notes:
• All packages of 6 hours or less are paid at the applicable hourly rate at the end of each visit either by cash or by check.
• If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service or performance, or if there is any damage to your property or possessions alleged to be caused by our organizer, please notify us at the earliest opportunity, at (704) 907-1777. All claims for damage must be made within 48 hours of discovery, and must be reported to the organizer if they are still present at the project location at the time of the damage. If liable for the damage, GreenThumb may either replace the item or pay its fair market value, at its discretion. Clients must complete a General Damage Claim Form prior to reimbursement.
• There is a 4 hour minimum with each visit.
• All gift certificates expire 12 months after purchase date.
• All pre-paid hours are non-refundable.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How do you actually do the work?
Our first step is to carefully look at the project and develop a game plan with you. We discuss the immediate objectives, the ultimate goal, and what area(s) are most urgent. Then we devise a specific strategy for that day's work. Depending on your preference and the types of items we are dealing with, we can either work with you at our side, or we can do the majority of the work by ourselves. Utilizing certain organizational methods, we place the items in separate "keep," "donate," "sell," and "trash" categories. You will help us make the final decision as to what items stay in which categories.
We then put the "keep" items back in an orderly manner, many times utilizing organizational products. We may also set up filing or other systems. With regard to the "donate" items, we can offer to take these items down to the local Goodwill or other charity. For the items to be sold, we can help arrange for pickup from a local eBay store, or you can choose to sell them yourself. Finally, for the "trash" items (usually the largest pile of them all!), we will bag the items and prepare them for curbside pickup, or, for larger items that need to be hauled away. Last but not least, we spend time teaching you the skills on how to maintain the newly organized space. It is our mission to never have to come back and reorganize the same area again.
Q: How do I know how many hours I will need?
Estimating the time it will take to complete a project comes only with experience. Our organizers will be able to give you an estimate after seeing firsthand the types and amount of clutter, how quickly decisions are being made, and what types of systems or products need to be incorporated. What we recommend is that if you are getting a Personal Organizing package, unless it is an obviously small job.
Q: What about all the various products to help keep me organized?
There are literally thousands of different products available to help prevent the clutter from coming back. There are also many retail stores that sell organizing products like Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, Container Store, and Ikea, just to name a few. We also have an option whereby, after the first visit and seeing what is needed, your organizer can do personal shopping for you at the location of your choice (additional fees may apply).
Q: What if an organizer breaks something?
Our organizers are very careful with your possessions, but if an accident were to occur, GreenThumb Cleaning & Organizing is insured and bonded.
Q: I have a total disaster here. I'm embarrassed to have anyone see it. I bet it's worse than anything you've ever seen, right?
Wrong! Our organizers have seen it all. The greater the mess, the more fun we have seeing it disappear. We're immune to the sight of clutter!
Q: I am really not looking forward to doing this. Isn't this going to be tedious, boring drudgework?
Most likely, no. Our organizers are selected not only for their organizing skills, but their ability to make the process fun. You will be surprised how enjoyable it is as you start to witness the dramatic results of our service. Feelings of freedom, relief, excitement, and anticipation of a more simplified life are frequently experienced by our clients.
Q: This is pretty expensive. Is it worth it?
Our organizers work very hard and they possess a unique skill that the vast majority of people do not have. We believe there is no greater "bang for the buck" than you get with professional organizing. It's like building an addition to your home for a fraction of the price! In fact, some of our clients end up making money from our services, by eliminating the need for outside storage, finding things they thought were gone for good, taking a tax deduction for donated items, selling unneeded items via an eBay store, and experiencing much greater efficiency in their homes and offices.
Think about what your time is worth. Is it a productive use of your valuable leisure time to try to sort through years of accumulated clutter? Are you knowledgeable in how to devise systems to keep the area permanently clutter-free? Are you going to have the stamina and energy to finish the job? Doesn't it make more sense to have a trained expert complete the job you've been putting off in a fraction of the time?
